Gomez & Associates is a well known and respected law firm established over 21 years ago by Raul Gomez who has been practicing immigration law exclusively for over 22 years.

 

Raul Gomez's aspiration to help others and his particular understanding of the needs of the immigrant community led him to build this successful and stable practice. The associate attorneys with Gomez & Associates each have over 5 years of experience in immigration law while the attorney assistants and clerical staff have several years of experience in this field.

ESPERANZA ARRIZON PALOMERA

BIO

Esperanza was born in Nayarit, Mexico and came to the United States with her family when she was six years old.  Growing up undocumented in South Central Los Angeles was the driving force in her decision to pursue higher education and become an immigration attorney. She wanted to be able to advocate for herself, for her loved ones and for the immigrant community facing the struggles that come with being undocumented.
Prior to law school,

 

Ms. Arrizon worked with immigrant rights organizations and was part of student-led efforts advocating for the rights of undocumented students. In 2011, she graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A. in sociology. In 2014, she obtained a master’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara where she focused her master’s thesis on the rights of undocumented people within the framework of international human rights law.  In 2017, she graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.


Currently, Ms. Arrizon is a practicing immigration attorney with Gomez and Associates representing clients in numerous immigration matters including, deportation defense before the Immigration Court, family petitions, and adjustment of status, DACA, U-Visa, 601A waivers, NACARA, and TPS.  Ms. Arrizon was admitted to the California State Bar and the Central District of California in 2018.
